SEIA was very well presented with 3 out of 5 potential category wins at the Clean Energy Council Awards night. Excellence in workmanship and quality equipment combined with innovative design catapulted 2 out of 3 SEIA member finalists to the top of the solar industry.

Congratulations to the Winners of the Clean Energy Council Solar Design and Installation Awards:

Brian England from Self Sufficiency Supplies for winning the Stand-alone Solar PV Power System Design and Installation Award. The first and currently only stand-alone solar installation at a crematorium in Australia. The crematorium has been working at full capacity for 4 months without the need of the back-up generator.

Peter Duff and Jeremy Tranter from Towards Tomorrow Energy winning the Grid-connect Battery Back-up Solar PV Power System at an aged care hostel. This system was on of the first applications using a SMA hybrid system, operating for 6 months now with very pleased customers.

Also congratulation to Rod Grono from Western Sydney Australia. One of our younger members Rod was a finalist in the Under 15kw Grid-Connect category. Reaching the finalist stage is a great win in itself.

SEIA is dedicated to improve the skills and knowledge base in the industry and the awards are testament to the quality work of our installer members who have a passion for solar and always endeavour to reach the highest standard.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
