Sign our Federal Petition for a National Feed In Tariff!

The Australian Solar Industry can’t survive the continual boom bust cycles and schemes floated and flouted on the whims of State and Federal Governments.

We need a National Feed-In Tariff which is equitable and fair, sustainable for the solar industry and offers security for householders and business.

Solar Power is too important to be the victim of politicking. And it is high time that Federal Government stepped up to the plate, got real about Climate Change and acknowledged that a Solar Solution is what hard-working Australians want.

It’s no good Governments talking about large scale solar plants INSTEAD of household installations . . . the ageing grid can’t bear the power loads it is already subjected to – it can’t handle the baseload whether it is coal driven or renewable.

Individual solar systems, serving homes, schools and businesses, alleviate stress on power infrastructure, are a clean and green alternative, reduce carbon emissions and lower power bills.

Australia should be the world leader in Solar Power generation, take-up, research and Government support. But we’re not.

Message	Dear Prime Minister Now that you have taken a stance on a Carbon Tax, as a hard working Australian, concerned about Climate Change and Australia's reliance on coal power, I want you to stand up for Solar Power. Australia lags behind much of Europe in our support and uptake of Solar - which is nonsensical. Australia is one of the sunniest countries on earth - we should be leading the way. There is no reason why, in these exciting political times, with committed renewable energy MP's such as Rob Oakeshott, Tony Windsor, Bob Katter and Bob Brown working closely with your minority Government, Australia can't take centre global stage and make history with groundbreaking and far-reaching policies which protect our planet. We urgently need a National Feed-In Tariff. The Australian Solar Industry can't survive the continual boom bust cycles and schemes floated and flouted on the whims of State Governments. Ordinary Australians have already voted with their hip pockets and shown how much they value Solar Power. It is time for Government to get serious about Solar. It's no good Governments talking about large scale solar plants INSTEAD of household installations . . . the ageing grid can't bear the power loads it is already subjected to - it can't handle the baseload whether it is coal driven or renewable. Individual solar systems, serving homes, schools and businesses, alleviate stress on power infrastructure, are a clean and green alternative, reduce carbon emissions and lower power bills. They also support a large and growing industry where jobs swing on every slash of the political knife. Please act immediately to legislate a National Feed-In Tariff and regulate and support Australia's Solar Industry and future. Please respond in detail to my comments above. Regards
